Youth Action Board is a part of the youth committee in the Rivervalleys CoC (Continuum of care) in the SE region of Minnesota. Youth Action Board was created in the hope to stand as a space for youth to have conversations on issues of housing, school, mental health, and other barriers that young people in our community experience.
Youth Action board welcomes youth and young adults with, or without live experience with homelessness to be interested in sharing their stories and experiences, giving feedback, and offering thoughts on the systems and resources that are currently, or should be available to youth.
Youth will receive a $35 stipend for every meeting they attend.
YAB meeting will be held virtually every month on the third Sunday of the month from 7 pm to 8 pm.
