LINK Services has been one of SE Minnesota’s leaders in providing aid to youth experiencing homelessness. They can help you get clothing, food, and even set you up with some short term housing. Their website states:
“The LINK provides a safe environment where youth ages 16-24 can receive nonjudgmental assistance from caring and trustworthy adults who are knowledgeable in overcoming the barriers of homelessness… Support is tailored to fit each person’s needs and can include case management, life-skills classes, host homes for youth, transitional housing services, and peer support group activities and employment support. Financial assistance for rent and/or a rental deposit may also be available for youth who meet eligibility requirements.“
